Rosie Perkins:
Rosie has spent most of her life in East Anglia having been seduced by its open skies and broad panoramic landscapes.

She has made Suffolk her home for the past 16 years and has been practising her craft here with a continuing sense of exploration and enduring affinity with the natural world.

She is truly passionate about the countryside and all it has to offer. Her palette reflects the colours she finds in nature - the range and subtleties of colour of the simplest leaf can provide Rosie with insight and inspiration.

But she also has an enchanting and fascinating imagination, developed through a love of puppetry and theatre, that enables her to conceive works that become a mouthpiece for her own vivid thoughts and experiences.

Rosie's personal vitality can be seen in all her work. Her experiences of her world and her unflagging love for it reach out from her canvasses and prints.

Sometimes whimsical, often charming and always true to her own vision, enjoying her work is like being in her company.

Rosie wears her heart on her sleeve... and on her canvas.

She is being discovered by an increasing number of collectors and has been exhibiting extensively since 1998. Her mono prints and paintings are now in collections throughout the UK and in Europe.
